- The APS Live SSceneME utility (SoundScene Millennium Edition) corrects the SoundScene startup problems experienced by Windows ME users when the APS drivers are loaded.
- At windows startup, SSceneME.exe automatically kills the faulty SSCENE.EXE task, relaunches it, & then resets the AC97 codec (by invoking RECSEL.EXE). The codec reset can be disabled.
